Strength does not improve critical chance. It gives 1% armor penetration on attack skills for each rank.

Onto the Trivia, his Guildwars account claims to not be the same Pham as this one, so Pham917 he may be using someone elses account in his profile as well, not sure if that's an offense.

However, the way GuildWars Pham replied with multiple WHAT THE RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY? I DON'T KNOW WHAT U ARE TALKING ABOUTs make me wonder the legitimacy of his claim. He did threaten to report me for reasons unclear. I can only assume that me contacting him online without for once resorting to full caps or swear words, and showing almost real concern for his identity being faked is against the rules or something.

So does the discussion continue?

I don't see what he did wrong, aside from debating the topic, which for some reason angered people, the majority rules I guess. I was kind of surprised that Silk and Lighting reacted the way they did. Ok nvm... the above post is full of rage, guess he brings it out of the forums.

I cant really imagine a scythe warrior that would do as well or better than a Dervish or a primary Warrior weapon attribute in damage.

Warrior as secondary could be used for burst of aggression, seeing as the dervish has a speed boost enchantment in wind. The recharge is iffy though, but it looks like the best ias to use aside from risking spikes from frenzy.

my perosnal take on the whole thing is that energy would just be too much of a problem. I even took to running zealous vow (in PvE) just so I could skill more. as for dervish skills, my picks are crippling sweep, mystic sweep, and wild blow, maybe an elite attack.

If you're going for scythe attacks on a W/D, Reaper's Sweep, Crippling Sweep, and Chilling Victory (or whatever it's called) are probably your best bets. The first two are cheap an effective. Chilling is expensive, but also very nasty. I'd stay away from the skills that rely on enchantments, like Mystic Sweep.

I'm creating a tactics scythe warrior. I would like to use a dervish, but there are just way too many around ATM. Also, I don't have to grind to lvl 20, as well

I'm building this around desperation/drunken blows.

16 tactics
12 scythe
4 str

Wild Blow, Drunken Blow, Desperation Blow, Balanced Stance, "Victory is Mine!", Healing Signet, Vital Boon, Res

At 16 tactics, there are 9 seconds of being vulnerable to KDs, so I cannot continually spam Drunken/Desperation (they have 7 second recharges). Not a terribly efficient build, but pretty fun. Vital Boon was only taken because I had an extra slot. Depending on how it goes, I may decide to drop Healing Signet if ViM proves to be more than sufficient to keep me alive. Soldier's Strike looks interesting too as a fast recharge dmg attack in the tactics line. We'll see if it's that or Wild Blow.

I'm going to fool around with 16 Strength and make use of Warrior's Endurance, allowing me to use scythe attacks without fear of losing energy (pretty much).

Primal Rage looks to be a lot of fun too, combined with Burst of Aggression.

For a W/D Scythe user your best bet is probably going to be a spam build with Warriors Endurance or a Drunk and Desperate build with Balanced Stance. Flourish MIGHT work I don't know.
